Airgun

This is my sport, to be honest it is the only thing I have ever been competitive in.
(Due to other interests I've not do anything in this hobby for some years.)

Some people say that I might do well as a Sumo wrestler, but the less said about that the better.

For field target I shoot the Air-Arms RN10 which I have used almost since they first came out, I have a Mk1 action, with a Mk3 air cylinder and regulator fitted. The scope is the Tasco Custom Shop.

For other events I shoot the Webley Axor (.22) , TX200SR (.177), TX200 (.22) and sometimes I even get the Park RH93 out. For the odd pistol event I use the Webley Nemesis, and the CP88.

Pellets, well some people try all sorts of things. As for me, I use Crosman Premier 7.9gr (.177) or 14.3gr (.22) They work well in all the weapons and they shoot a lot better than I do! I learned a long time ago that the saying 'don't fix what isn't broken' is worth paying attention to, so I don`t intend to break the system, I'll stick to the Premiers. I often hear people complaining that premiers are more expensive, which is true, however if you buy in quantity you can get some good discounts. This is a good reason to join a club, a group order can dramatically cut the cost.

I have been threatening to build a good Chronograph for a couple of years, but various events have put that project on the back burner - one day perhaps! As part of this project I have been collecting some data on the various pellets that are about. I have posted this info as a web page. It is `as is` and I would be pleased to receive any corrections or additional data. The information has come from many sources, including magazines, web pages, manufacturers data etc.
